According to the Huffington Post, Hall of Famer, Joe Namath, 70, walked out on the field for Super Bowl XLVIII with much swag in his mink fur coat to do the coin toss, Sunday, Feb. 2, 2014. Seattle Seahawks vs. Denver Broncos.

When it was time to do the coin toss, Namath flubbed the first throw. He jumped the gun by tossing the coin before either team had called their side.
The referee caught the coin before it landed on the field. Namath corrected the blunder and the Seahawks deferred to the 2nd half.
Namath is a former quarterback for the Jets and played in Super Bowl III (1973) winning the game 16-7 against the Baltimore Colts. He was named MVP.
According to Answers, Joe Namath advertised Hanes’ Beauty Mist pantyhose. “Now I don’t wear pantyhose, but if Beauty Mist can make my legs look good, imagine what they’ll do for yours.”
The Seahawks won the Super Bowl by a landslide: 43-8 against the Denver Broncos.
