Joe Jonas, Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, Audrina Patridge, and Stephanie Pratt talk about New Moon and Team Edward vs. Team Jacob.

 

MTV News has an article where readers find out which New Moon team celebrities are on, Team Edward (Robert Pattinson's vampire character) or Team Jacob (Taylor Lautner's werewolf). TV stars like The Disney Channel's Joe Jonas (Jonas), Selena Gomez (Wizards of Waverly Place), and Demi Lovato (Sonny With A Chance) made their choices (or didn't), as did The Hills stars Audrina Patridge and Stephanie Pratt.  

 

Joe Jonas, it turns out, is an Edward Cullen fan. The Team Edward member said, "For a lot of guys, they want superpowers," adding, "He's a vampire, but he's pretty strong and stuff."

 

Selena Gomez, a friend of Taylor Lautner's in real life, felt compelled to support her pal, and put herself in Team Jacob. She said, "This question is so hard. I don't know, I like them both," adding, "I have to chose one of them? I don't know, I guess Team Jacob, 'cause I want to be a good friend."  

 

Demi Lovato, on her part, decided she just couldn't decide, saying, "Edward Cullen — I would write a love song to him," and adding, "Or Jacob Black!"

 

Two girls who are sure about which team they are on, and that is team Edward, are The Hills' Audrina Patridge and Stephanie Pratt. Last year, Patridge said, "I want to meet an Edward!" And Pratt stated, "No, I really did not like [Jacob]. I would put my book down and be like, 'Leave Bella alone,' adding, "I had issues with Jacob — that he was just, like, manipulating with her and messing with her, especially when Edward came back in the picture ... I get really mad and I feel bad 'cause I think I take it out on Taylor [Lautner]. I hate Jacob."
