The influenza epidemic has hit reality TV. “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star, Joe Gorga, has been hospitalized with the flu, according to a Jan. 11 US Weekly report.
Gorga is not taking the illness silently. Joe and is wife, Melissa Gorga, have been tweeting about his illness all week. Melissa shared that her husband had a fever and she was nursing him back to health on Jan. 9. Joe was admitted to a hospital in Montville, New Jersey the very next day.
People across the country are being left incapacitated by this year’s flu epidemic. Hopefully Melissa and her “RHONJ” cast mates will stay healthy. These are busy women and they won’t take well to being slowed down by the flu.
However, if anyone else from the show gets the flu, we’re sure to hear about. Teresa Giudice and the others really love Twitter.
Joe Gorga tweeted, "I'm dying over here in the hospital. This flu kicked my a**," on Jan. 10.
