The 30th annual Sprint All-Star Race, which began under the guise of The Winston in 1985, is this Saturday, May 17th, at Charlotte Motor Speedway, and the three Joe Gibbs Racing drivers – Kyle Busch, Denny Hamlin and Matt Kenseth – will be putting it all on the line in a Saturday night shootout.

Hamlin, in the No. 11 FedEx Express Toyota Camry, has competed in seven All-Star events dating back to 2007. He finished fourth twice – in 2009 and 2010 – and finished sixth in last year’s event.

Busch, in the No. 18 M&Ms Toyota, has had good luck in qualifying for the All-Star Race, earning three poles in eight events. Busch’s best finish was second in 2011, and he finished third in the event last season.

Kenseth, in the No. 20 Home Depot/Husky Tools Toyota, has 13 All-Star Race starts, picking up with win in 2004 for Roush Fenway Racing. Last year, in his first start in the event for JGR, he picked up a ninth-place finish.

Qualifying for the Sprint All-Star Race happens Saturday, May 17th at 7:10 p.m. ET, followed by the All-Star Race at approximately 9 p.m. ET. Keep up with the action at
