As previously reported, Joe Francis, the owner of "Girls Gone Wild," is a cast member on the third season of VH1's "Couples Therapy" and so far, he hasn't been portrayed in the most flattering light. He has had numerous conflict with cast members, all of which he has been criticized for, including his argument with "Real World: Las Vegas 2011" couple Dustin Zito and Heather Marter on the most recent episode.
Joe defended himself on Twitter, claiming the show is "scripted" and that the show's editing misrepresents him. But his cast mates, including "Teen Mom" stars Catelynn Lowell and her boyfriend, Tyler Baltierra, disagree.
Here's what Catelynn had to say:
For you to act so low and throw water in a woman's face and not face her man is ridiculous. Your 40 come on now time to grow up! -@CatelynnLowell
By the way #CouplesTherapy WAS not scripted! He did what he did because he's that type of "man".. He's just upset ppl see the real him.. -@CatelynnLowell
Here's what Tyler had to say:
I hope the world now sees what type of guy Joe REALLY is. Beyond disrespectful, immature, NO humility & a SIDESHOW to the fullest #pathetic -@TylerBaltierra
He's simply trying to cover up how big of an inconsiderate, rude person he is. Trust me...I lived with him -@TylerBaltierra
When you throw water in a woman's face with her man standing behind her. You stand there & take what's coming. You don't "RUN" away #Weak -@TylerBaltierra
Temple Poet retweeted several of their comments in agreement. Her boyfriend and rapper, Chingy Bailey, has remained silent on the issue.
Heather has also remained quiet on the issue, but Dustin has not. Here's what he had to say:
I never had a problem with ol' @RealJoeFrancis and I don't know why he had a problem with me but #dickfaceJoe will be #dickfaceJoe -@DustinZito
for the record! #CouplesTherapy is not scripted at all! I don't know why @RealJoeFrancis would say that it was scripted. -@DustinZito
Flavor Flav and his girlfriend, Liz Trujillo, also have yet to comment on the issue. But, with the exception of his girlfriend, Abbey Wilson, none of the "Couples Therapy" cast has come to Joe's defense and it seems that he is, in fact, disliked by at least half of them.
