Joe Flacco record deal: Super Bowl MVP reaches long term deal with Ravens (Video)

Pay the man! Joe Flacco has led the Baltimore Ravens to the playoffs five consecutive seasons and after this year's Super Bowl win vs. the San Francisco 49ers, Flacco will get his well deserved pay day.

According to CBS Sports on Mar. 1, Mike Freeman and Jason La Canfora report the Ravens and Flacco have agreed to terms on a new long term deal. Freeman also confirms Flacco will sign the contract on this Monday, and that the quarterback's average annual salary could end up in the $19.5-million range.

The full terms of the contract will be revealed when Flacco officially signs this Monday.

Like it or not, Flacco is a great QB.

It seems fashionable for fans to say that Flacco is average at best, but his on field play proves otherwise. How many QB's have led their team to the postseason five years in a row nowadays?

Just because Flacco isn't in the news every day, or making commercials, people want to sell him short. He may be a quiet guy, but he knows how to win games.
