Country/rock artist Joe Ely, rapper Future, and the AC/DC tribute band Hell's Belles have all announced shows in Central Iowa in recent days.

Country/rock singer and songwriter Joe Ely will play Wooly's in Des Moines on Saturday, May 31 at 7:30 p.m. Ely is a co-founder of the on-again-off-again band The Flatlanders, and has released more than 20 solo albums. He performed with the likes of Bruce Springsteen, The Clash, Lyle Lovett, and The Chieftains. Tickets for the Des Moines show are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. They can be purchased at the Wooly's box office. This will be an all ages show.

Atlanta rapper Future, will perform at the Val Air Ballroom in West Des Moines on Saturday, May 24. Future's new album Honest dropped yesterday with guest appearances by Kanye West, Wiz Khalifa, among others. Tickets to see the Honest tour stop at the Val Air are $25, with VIP packages from $50 to $75. Tickets may be purchased at the Val Air box office. This is an all ages show.

AC/DC tribute band Hell's Belles will play the Avenue of the Saints Amphitheater in Saint Charles on July 18, at 8 p.m. For more than 16 years, Hell's Belles has been widely regarded as one of the best AC/DC tribute bands in the world. Tickets for the show start at $10 in April and increase in price $5 per month until the show in July. This will be an 18-and-over event, and the venue is expected to announce an opening act sometime in the next few weeks.
