Jodie Foster gave a really long spiel at Sunday night’s Golden Globe Awards, but one thing she won’t be talking about any time soon is the biological father of her sons, Charles, 14, and Kit, 12.
On Jan. 14, The Daily Mail reported that Foster’s boys don’t know the identity of their biological dad, and that the Oscar-winning actress doesn’t plan to tell them until they are 21 years old. It has long been rumored that the late Hollywood producer Randy Stone is the boys’ dad.
During her long Golden Globe acceptance speech on Sunday night, Foster gave a shout out to her ex, Cydney Bernard, whom she is raising her kids with.
“There is no way I could ever stand here without acknowledging one of the deepest loves of my life, my heroic co-parent, my ex-partner in love but righteous soul sister in life, my confessor, ski buddy, consigliore, most beloved BFF of 20 years, Cydney Bernard. Thank you, Cyd. I am so proud of our modern family,” she said.

Meanwhile, Stone’s mother told the Daily Mail she believes her son is the father of Foster and Bernard’s kids, but that he took the secret with him to the grave.
“I would love to know if Randy is the boys' father,” Reverend Beverly Bates said. “I personally think he gave Jodie the gift, but she will never tell me. And Randy made an agreement with Jodie that he would never tell. I know the boys have red hair and freckles; that's not from our family, but Jodie's side.”
