Despite her acceptance speech at the Golden Globes, Jodie Foster can keep a secret. According to a report date Jan. 16 from The Christian Post, Jodie Foster will not be telling her sons who their father is until they turn 21.
Although Jodie Foster is keeping quiet, rumors are circulating that Randy Stone is the father to Charles and Kit. Randy Stone, a producer and alleged best friend of Jodie Foster, passed away in 2007. He was suffering from heart failure. Randy Stone was only 48 at the time of his death.
Rev. Beverly Bates, Randy Stone's mother, broke the paternity story to the New York Post. She revealed to the Post that Jodie Foster would tell her sons who their father was when they turned 21. She claimed that Randy Stone could never tell her the truth about the boys' paternity because Jodie Foster was “his best friend.”
“It was a secret he took to his grave,” Beverly Bates stated. “That was how much he loved Jodie [Foster].”
Jodie Foster's oldest son, Charles, is only 14 so it will be a while before he learns who his father is. Kit is just 12 years old.
Jodie Foster made references to her “privacy” during the acceptance speech she gave when she was given the Cecil B. DeMille Lifetime Achievement Award. With the mother of her alleged best friend bringing up the paternity of her sons, it doesn't appear that Jodie Foster privacy is still intact. Jodie Foster's secret may not be a secret for much longer.
