She received the the Cecil B. DeMille Award for Lifetime Achievement. During her speech, she said she had the feeling to be loud and proud. She went on to say that her reality show would be boring and that she is single, but then she did admit to being a gay woman.

She then thanked her former partner that she raised her children with saying: "There is no way I could ever stand here without acknowledging one of the deepest loves of my life, my heroic co-parent, expert in love, my soul sister in life…Sydney Bernard." Jodie also implied that she is retiring.

The speech ended with "Here's to the next 50 years." What do you think of her finally speaking out about her sexuality? Sound off in the comments.
