Actress/director Jodie Foster walked down the aisle this past weekend with girlfriend Alexandra Hedison.
USA Today reported that the wedding location was not revealed. Hedison, an actress/photographer, had been dating Foster for nearly a year.
Before that, Foster, 51, dated Cydney Bernard, with whom Foster has raised sons Charles and Kit. The couple spilt in 2008 after 15 years together, although Foster thanked Bernard in 2013 when the actress received the Cecil B. DeMille Lifetime Achievement Award at the Golden Globes.
Hedison, 44, appeared on series such as Melrose Place and The L Word. She previously dated Ellen DeGeneres from 2001-2004.
"Be who you are -- whatever you are," Hedison said, according to AFP. "I have to do my photography because that's my work and it makes me so happy."
According to E! News, Hedison and Foster began dating last summer.
"It's pretty serious," a source revealed in September. "They're totally in love."
Foster began her career as a child actress with appearances in series such as Gunsmoke and Bonanza and with roles in such movies as Freaky Friday (1977), Candleshoe (1977) and, most famously, Taxi Driver (1976), which brought her first Academy Award nomination.
As an adult, Foster would go on to win Oscars for her performances in The Accused (1988) and The Silence of the Lambs (1991). She would get another Oscar nomination for Nell (1994).
Foster’s other films include Maverick (1994), Contact (1997), Panic Room (2002) and Inside Man (2006). Her most recent film was Elysium (2013).
The actress made her directorial debut with the drama Little Man Tate (1991), which she also starred in. Her most recent directorial venture was The Beaver (2011), which reunited her with Maverick co-star Mel Gibson. Foster has also directed an episode of the Netflix series Orange is the New Black.
