Calling all Jodi Picoult fans (and HBE knows there are a lot of you!)…
Yesterday, Picoult announced the itinerary for this year’s upcoming book tour in support of The Storyteller (out 2/26) – and Connecticut has once again made the cut.
The author will appear at the Jewish Federation of Greater New Haven (360 Amity Rd. in Woodbridge) on Friday, March 1st, at 11 AM. Books will be sold by R.J. Julia. The cost to attend is $35 per person; this price includes a copy of the book. Registration can be completed online or by calling the store at 203-245-3959.
Picoult is the critically acclaimed and wildly popular author of nineteen novels; these include the #1 New York Times bestsellers Sing You Home, House Rules, Handle With Care, Change of Heart, Nineteen Minutes, and My Sister’s Keeper. In 2012, she released both the adult-themed Lone Wolf and the young adult title Between the Lines, written in collaboration with her daughter, Samantha Van Leer.
The Storyteller (Atria/Emily Bestler Books, $28.99) continues in the tradition of Picoult’s earlier books by posing serious questions of both moral and legal significance. In it, baker Sage Singer is trying to grapple with her mother’s death when an unlikely friend – an aging man she met in her grief support group – reveals a shameful secret and then asks her for an extraordinary favor. No matter what her decision, Sage’s life will never be the same.
In addition to the US, Picoult will also tour the UK. She is currently preparing to visit South Africa January 14-19 in support of Lone Wolf. A list of all upcoming appearances can be viewed here.
