On March 13, 2013, WPTV reported that the Jodi Arias trial has prompted the HLN network to launch a new television program titled “After Dark: Jodi Arias Trial.” Those in the Tampa Bay area may find the show on Bright House, channel 30.
“After Dark: Jodi Arias Trial” features HLN hosts such as Nancy Grace, Jane Velez-Mitchell, Ryan Smith, and Dr. Drew Pinksy and a mock, jury panel that weighs in on the current trial events. Jodi Arias faces the death penalty for the June 4, 2008, murder of her lover Travis Alexander. The state of Arizona contends Arias slaughtered Alexander in a jealous rage when she wielded 29 stab wounds and shot him in the head. The defense claims Arias was forced to kill Alexander after he attacked her.
Those who are interested in watching live streaming video of the trial may do so while court is in session.
