Jodi Arias is on trial for the brutal 2008 murder of her former lover, Travis Alexander. As the proceedings continue, many wonder about the allegation made by HLN’s Nancy Grace regarding Arias and an alleged lesbian lover in the jail facility where she's being held, according to a Feb. 1, 2013 Enstars.com report.
On Jan. 30, Grace revealed on air she was told by sources during a tour of Estrella Jail in Phoenix, Ariz. that Arias has a jailhouse girlfriend.
“Jodi Arias is anything but bored behind bars... in fact, she’s got a girlfriend, according to sources…” said Grace.

Legal expert Matt Zarrell commented on the matter, telling Grace Arias’ love affair is significant because it proves she can “charm her way into any relationship… but this time it is with the same sex—with a female.”

The allegation has yet to be confirmed and Arias' alleged lesbian lover has not been identified.
Arias is accused of killing Alexander in his Mesa, Ariz. home. He was shot in the head, his throat was slashed from ear to ear, and he was stabbed 27 times.

Arias, 32, claimed the day of the murder she had been taking photos of Alexander in the shower, when she was hit on the back of the head. She said when she awoke Alexander was being killed by two masked intruders. One grabbed her, held a gun to her head, and told her if she talked he would kill her, according to her story. Arias alleged the man pulled the trigger and all she heard was a click so she ran down the stairs and out the door. She said she did not tell police about the incident because she was scared. She later admitted killing Alexander, saying she did so in self defense.

Arias' trial is slated to resume on Monday.
