Jodi Arias: Too loving and quiet to commit brutal murder claims defense (Photos)

The Jodi Arias death penalty trial opened back up on Tuesday with the defense team presenting their case. They are painting Arias as someone who is too loving and quiet to have committed such a vicious brutal murder.

Arias is accused of stabbing, shooting and slitting the throat of her ex-boyfriend Travis Alexander and leaving his dead body in the shower of his home.

Darryl Brewer, one of Arias’ former boyfriends, however cast a different impression of her when he testified at her trial. During his testimony, Brewer stated that Arias like taking “raunchy naked” pictures of him while he showered.

The prosecution admitted similar evidence during its case. They alleged that Arias and her victim, Travis Alexander also took naked photos on his digital camera shortly before he was brutally murdered.

Brewer also testified that Arias was a “responsible, loving, caring person.” At the beginning of Brewer's testimony, you could see the fondness for him reveals in Arias' face. However, as he moved on to describe her photo fetish, her face shifted to barely controlled anger.

Upon cross examination by Juan Martinez, the prosecution attorney, Brewer admitted he’d talked with Jodi Arias in May 2008. He testified that Arias had called to see if she could borrow gas cans for “a long trip to Mesa, Ariz.”

Jodi Arias is on trial for the brutal murder of Travis Alexander. Alexander was shot in the face, stabbed 27 times and had his throat slit from ear to ear on Jun 4, 2008.
