Jodi Arias taking heat for voicemails, texts and emails

Jodi Arias caught all sorts of heat from Juan Martinez during his cross-examination of the murder suspect. According to a report, dated Feb. 28, by RadarOnline, the attorney went after Jodi Arias and the voicemails, text messages and emails to Travis Alexander.

The communications causing Jodi Arias so much trouble were left for him after she allegedly stabbed and murdered him in the shower. All of them were cheerful and upbeat, eluding to future plans she had with her ex-boyfriend.

“That is just sick,” Tammy Openhiemer, from Oklahoma City, said. “[Jodi Arias] knew he was dead and was just trying to cover her tracks. I had my doubts about the case; it could have been self-defense or battered woman syndrome, but this erases my doubts. She murdered him in cold blood and didn't want to get caught.”

All of the messages were left after Jodi Arias allegedly stabbed him 27 times and slit his throat. Despite that, she attempted to make plans with him – inviting him to see “Othello” with her and acting excited to see him in a few weeks.

“Did you send it so he could reach you from the grave?” Juan Martinez asked Jodi Arias when she was on the stand.

Jodi Arias has been charged with first-degree murder. Travis Alexander was killed June 4, 2008. If Jodi Arias is found guilty, she could face the death penalty.
