The Jodi Arias murder trial will be the subject of a nightly broadcast on HLN, according to a March 11, 2013 TV Newser report.
The show, entitled “After Dark: The Jodi Arias Trial” will premiere on March 13 and air Monday through Thursday for the length of the trial.

According to TV Newser, the show appears to be a reaction to the network reducing its daily trial coverage by two hours.
Vinnie Politan will host the show, with Beth Karas and Jean Casarez acting as contributors.

In addition, HLN personalities Nancy Grace, Dr. Drew Pinsky, Ryan Smith, and Jane Velez-Mitchell will join Politan to discuss the trial and talk about what goes on each day.
Twelve people will be in the audience and during each show they will render a verdict regarding Arias’ guilt or innocence.

Prosecutors argue Arias, 32, killed her former lover, Ariz. man Travis Alexander, 30, in cold blood as he showered in his Mesa home in 2008. He was stabbed 27 times, his throat was slashed, and he was shot in the head. After initially lying about his death, she admitted killing Alexander, but claims she did so in self-defense.
