Jodi Arias has become somewhat of a celebrity since Travis Alexander's murder and the killer's trial has been discussed on Nancy Grace's show. In a shocking statement during cross-examination, she claims she cannot remember stabbing her ex-boyfriend, according to a report by ABC News on Feb. 20.
Many believe that Jodi Arias is either a psychopath or killed in a jealous rage, even though she is claiming self-defense. The evidence clearly proves that she is guilty and that she brutally murdered her victim and that he was trying to get away from her, not the other way around.
She testified that killing Travis Alexander took less than a minute, although she also said that she does not remember the "actual killing." She claims that the next thing she knows, she is driving barefoot through the desert. She said that she drove west with the sun in her eyes and dropped the gun she used into some weeds.
She also testified that she washed the blood off of her hands using bottled water that was in the trunk of her rental car.
According to witnesses, she drove to Utah to meet up with some friends and had a meal with them the very next day, chatting and giggling like usual.
Jodi Arias shot Travis Alexander as well as stabbed him 27 times and slit his throat, nearly decapitating him. Hopefully she will be convicted so justice can be served and if so, will receive the death penalty.
