Since January 2010, the not-for-profit Single Stop USA has had a large impact at JobTrain which is Silicon Valley’s established vocational training organization that serves 6,000 economically disadvantaged individuals every year by providing job training and assisting in finding long-term employment.
JobTrain partnered with Single Stop in order to expand their services and programs. The partnership has helped well over 700 residents in the Bay Area reclaim their lives through access to programs such as affordable health care, food sources, affordable housing, and affordable legal-aid and tax services. Single Stop has bridged the gap between families in need ad the resources available to them. They have helped families and individuals on the brink of homelessness by providing new opportunities and restoring their hope.
