Detroit Job Search Examiner-Monica Ross-Williams, interviewed one organizers of the Job, Justice and Peace Rally, Teresa Bullock-UAW Civil Rights Coordinator:

"The rally will have a focus on stressing the needs of Job Creation, Voter Registration, Foreclourse Prevention and a host of other issues that are effecting the unemployed, underemployed and youth populations", Ms. Bullock noted.

Follow-up on the Call Support for an Michigan Based-"Rally for Unemployed Job Seekers"

"Reach Out Job Search" Blog Talk Radio and the Detroit Job Search Examiner is coordinating our efforts to place national attention on Senator Debbie Stabenow's (D-MI) Bill, "Americans Want to Work Act" S-3706 for unemployed job seekers/99ers, with the Rainbow Push Coliation/UAW, Rebuild America-Jobs, Justice and Peace Rally and March on August 28.

In our previous article titled, "Call for Support for an Michigan Based-"Rally for Unemployed Job Seekers", published on August 12, 2010, we announced the creation of a "Grassroot Campaign" in Michigan to draw attention to the plight of the longest-term unemployed job seekers. Teresa Bullock from the UAW, welcomes 99ers in the state of Michigan to take part in the rally.

"99ers are welcome to bring signs or other message generators, to use during the march that will take place during the rally and to the rally speaker event, that will be held, after the march", Ms. Bullock stated. Speakers announced for the "Rebuild America-Jobs, Justice and Peace Rally" , include the Rev. Jesse Jackson-head of the Rainbow Push Coliation, UAW Leadership Officials, Local, State and Federal Government Officials and community resource organizations. A voter resignation campaign, also will be held during the event.

If you are an unemployed job seeker, we encourage your attendance at this rally. The rally and march will have local and national media attention, due to the stature of the head coordinators and speakers during the event.
