Jobs fairs coming in June

If your summer is not just about making vacation plans and sitting poolside with your friends, then you may be looking for career opportunities this month. There are several job fairs on the calendar for June.

June 3rd is the NCOA Career Expo (non-commissioned officers association) that will be located at the Norris Conference Center on 4522 Fredericksburg Road. It will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and the link above offers free registration. For veterans or those separating from the military or military spouses, this is a chance to meet local and national employers. There will also be educational resources available. After you register, you will receive a list of the employers participating to help get prepared for the event.

June 17th will be a Medical Job Fair at the Norris Conference Center from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This event is free and sponsored by San Antonio Express-News and Monster.com. So register online with the link above and be entered to win a $50 gift card. Local hospitals and education centers will be represented so bring copies of your resume and be ready to interview.

June 24th will be the Oil & Gas Job Fair from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Floresville Event Center. The address is 600 Highway 97 in Floresville,TX. This is a free event with many local employers from the oil and gas industries represented.
