There is only a short amount of time left until the health care law will take effect and impact job seekers. Of course, the health care law will not fully go into effect until 2014 however, as of eight hours from now certain states will begin to see specific factors take place. Those specific states have agreed to use insurance exchanges. There are many problems with not disclosing the insurance exchanges information. State Representatives should provide this information to make American citizens be aware of this health care law one way or the other. Many Representatives are avoiding an honest discussion with constituents and it raises the question why.
Recall the words once stated by the President anyone who uses this health care can stay with their doctor; that is incorrect. As of now, many medical professionals are leaving due to this health care act because of the high price. Another factor that must be considered is medical doctors are retiring so there now is limitations on what doctor is within the health insurance exchange. Another choice phrase of words that were stated was this health insurance exchange would be more affordable. That is another incorrect statement. This health insurance coverage is going to have a higher premium for all persons within the exchange in comparison to private insurance.
The large concern is in the job market because of what is currently taking place. As of now, many small businesses are unable to keep personnel working on a full-time status so the hours are being decreased to part-time. Another matter that has also taken place within the employment industry is business owners have taken further steps in some cases and laid off personnel, as they can no longer be afforded due to daily operation costs. Daily operation costs have also affected the lower amount of persons being hired as full-time employees. In many cases, there have been business owners that will hire part-time workers at part-time hours or not at all. With all of the above, job seekers must closely pay attention to the job market in the coming days, weeks, and months because future health care can get very damaging due to the economy and our financial needs.
