Job fairs coming in April to San Antonio

April in San Antonio means Fiesta week and party time, but don't let that distract you from focusing in your career. There are a few job fairs coming in April, so check the dates below. Job fairs are an efficient way to view several employers or job openings at one place and to network with others.

April 15th, Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. the San Antonio Express-News will sponsor a Mega Job Fair at the Norris Conference Center in the Wonderland of the Americas Mall on Fredericksburg Road. The types of employers will include the oil & gas industry, health care & nursing, plus financial services. Some of the local firms offering positions are; USAA, SWBC, Security Service Federal Credit Union, EagleOne Oilfield Transportation and Carenet Healthcare Services. Check the link above for a full list of participating employers and to register online, plus you could win a $50 gas card.

April 22nd, Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. is the San Antonio Career Fair to be held at the Omni San Antonio Hotel. It sponsored National Career Fairs and will be located at 9821 Colonnade Blvd. Parking and admission are free. Some of the employers include Primerica, Aaron's, West Corporation, Family Dollar and there will be educational representative as well. Register online and get a free resume review. The site also offers tips and advice for making a good impression.

For our neighbors in Austin, there is a career fair on April 24th from 11:00 to 2:00 at the Norris Conference Center located at 2525 W. Anderson Lane. It is sponsored by Choice Career Fairs and you can pre-register and review employers at the link above.
