Job Fair for veterans in North Charleston –February 22

U.S. Representative Tim Scott is hosting a Veterans Job Fair at the Charleston Area Convention Center, February 22, from 11 am until 3 pm.

The free event is open to all military veterans, active-duty members and their families.  Some fifty local defense contractors, government agencies and area companies will be there for on-site recruiting.

Information from the Veterans Administran on health care and benefits will also be available.

Employers interested in participating should contact Rep. Scott’s office at 843-852-2222 or at 2000 Sam Rittenberg Blvd, Suite 3007, Charleston.

Military veterans, and/or their family members, should bring several copies of their resume’-work history-including any special schooling or skills to the event.
