Joanne Nosuchinsky was crowned Miss New York USA on Sunday.
She entered the pageant as Miss Hell's Kitchen. She describes herself in her Twitter profile as "Hot child in the city! I am representing Hell's Kitchen in the Miss New York USA 2013 Pageant! Support the arts. Be grateful. Be kind. Be unforgettable."
"I've been a resident of Hell's Kitchen for over two years (LOVE this area!)," she wrote on her Facebook page. "I moved to New York City to pursue an acting career. I'm a proud member of Actor's Equity, a supporter of arts education, and an advocate for the performing arts.”
According to IMDB.com, Nosuchinsky appeared as Greta in the 2009 film “With a Little Help.”
It was produced by Rider University Productions.
She will represent New York in the Miss USA Pageant.
If she wins the Miss USA Pageant, she will represent the United States in the Miss Universe Pageant.
The Miss USA and Miss Universe pageants are co-owned by Donald Trump and NBC Universal.
