Joanie 'Chyna' Laurer comments on her TNA stint and the WWE breakup

Over the last few weeks Joanie "Chyna" Laurer has been a hot topic for pro-wrestling fans as Chyna decided to return to the adult film industry by making the film "Backdoor to Chyna". Unfortunately, it also meant that her return to pro-wrestling was over as TNA and WWE were no longer options. On Thursday, Chyna spoke about her brief stint in TNA and the process she had to go through to get over her WWE departure. According to The Baltimore Sun, Chyna made the following comments:

"They have a fantastic atmosphere. I really enjoyed it. I had butterflies in my tummy just seeing everybody. It had been a long time. I had a smile from ear to ear the whole time. I really didn’t know any of the girls but they were all really excited that I was there and it was nice."

Laurer appeared on the May 12th episode of Impact Wrestling and the May 15th Sacrifice PPV. Her return to pro-wrestling was well received by the fans, her peers, and wrestling pundits. Sadly, her return was cut short as negotiations for a contract were cut short due to Laurer's participation in an adult film.

Earlier this week, Laurer admitted that she's considering doing more adult films and using her name Chyna. Joanie believes there's nothing wrong with being a porn star and stated that everyone should have some porn in their lives.

In 2004, a sex tape was released of Chyna and her boyfriend at the time Sean "X Pac" Waltman. Chyna claimed that was a very hurtful video and it took her a long time to get over it. Apparently, all of her problems started when she departed ways with the WWE. Chyna made the following comments to the Baltimore Sun:

"When I was in WWE, I was in such a great place. Professionally, it was one of the best times of my life and I loved my work. When the carpet was pulled from underneath me, I had a lot of years to heal from that. It took me a long time, which I think most people have seen in the public eye. I kept trying, but it was very difficult and I had some really difficult times."

Chyna would go on to say that she feels like she's finally overcome all of her problems and thinks that adult films has helped her to feel more beautiful and helped her to enjoy life more. Chyna's critics would argue the exact opposite and think that her latest venture is another sign of her highly publicized self-destruction.
