Fans will be happy to hear that Joan Collins is coming back to television once again. On Saturday, Web Pro News shared that she will be coming to the show "The Royals" which will air on E! Network. This show will be the very first scripted show that E! has ever had so it should be interesting.

This new show will be one hour long each week. It will be about a fake family that are royals in London. Joan will play Grand Duchess of Oxford. She is the mother to the character that Elizabeth Hurley will be playing.

Jeff Olde, the executive vice president of original programming & development for E!, spoke out about this new show. He said, "We are excited that E!’s first original scripted series will transport viewers into a world that they are already intensely interested in, but reality cameras would never give them access to. The Royals will offer a fictional look behind the very public gilded façade of the palace gates to imagine the private, lush, fun, sexy world of the most-watched celebrity family on the planet. It’s a perfect series to introduce E! viewers to scripted pop culture programming on the network."

Joan Collins is excited to be back on television again. Ever since she was on "Dynasty" viewers have wanted to see her back on television in a high profile role. This is not the kind of thing that she was expected to do, but this type of role should be fun for her to do.

There is still not an exact premiere date for "The Royals." It will start sometime in 2015. This should be a great addition to the shows on this channel.
