WWE superstar Jimmy Uso was arrested on Wednesday, March 13 for driving under the influence. The arrest took place at approximately 12:47 PM EST in Hillsborough County, Florida.
Uso (born Jonathan Fatu) was arrested and released at approximately 3 PM EST on a $500 cash bond. Very little information has been released in regards to the arrest, including reason for the pull over or when his court date is. The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is currently not showing his arrest record.
This is actually Uso’s second DUI arrest in recent times. He was originally arrested for DUI on September 29, 2011, in Tampa, Florida. He was pulled over at approximately 3 AM EST. He was traveling down the road going to wrong way, which led to him being pulled over. Uso’s blood alcohol content was .18 at the time of his arrest.
Much like Jack Swagger’s recent DUI arrest, WWE or the wrestler involved have made an official announcement regarding the incident.
Jimmy currently competes in WWE alongside identical twin brother Jey Uso (Joshua Fatu) as The Usos. The twins are the sons of former WWE Intercontinental Champion and Tag Team Champion Rikishi (Solofa) Fatu and are the nephews of the WWE Hall of Fame tag team The Wild Samoans (Afa and Sika Anoa’i).
The brothers are currently on the low end of the card and not featured prominently on WWE television currently. This unfortunate transgression could seriously hinder both Jimmy & Jey’s career in the company.
