Recently, a video has gone viral on the Internet and shown a young girl doing what is known as the "Worst Twerk Fail EVER!" Actually, the video went viral on the Internet and to countless television media outlets as well, and it became incredibly viral due to the girl trying to do the dance but catching herself on fire. Well, according to the Inquisitr on Sept. 10, 2013, Jimmy Kimmel revealed he was simply putting on over on the world.
The original video shows a girl dancing and "twerking" on a door as her roommate then comes in and knocks her over. The girl falls through a glass table and catches her pants on fire and they both start screaming before the video suddenly ends.
Kimmel brought the young girl named "Caitlin Heller" on his show to speak with her about the video, and that was when the truth was revealed.
While doing the interview, Kimmel said that they should show the "director's cut" of the video since it ended so quickly. He joined Caitlin in a room that was just set up on stage and the world watched as the video continued and then Kimmel came in to put out the fire with a fire extinguisher.
Kimmel revealed last night to the “conspiracy theorists on the Internet who thought the video was fake: you were right, it was fake” as he admitted he was behind the whole thing.
The late night host introduced Caitlin for her real name of Daphne Avalon, who is a stunt person. He then thanked her for "helping us deceive the world and hopefully put an end to twerking forever."
Jimmy Kimmel let it be known that they didn't tweet it or contact any news stations or even respond to any requests for interviews over the video. He said they simply posted it to YouTube and let the Internet work its magic.
He even said that his video was filmed before Miley Cyrus set foot on the stage at the MTV Video Music Awards.
