Jimmy Kimmel and Matt Damon aren’t done with their feud yet. The two entertainers picked up where they left off last year in Movie: The Movie, a parody shown on the Jimmy Kimmel After the Academy Awards show, was a direct reflection of all the movies wrapped into one big nine-minute trailer on Sunday night. From Steven Tyler to Helen Mirren, it was nonstop action that included George Clooney hoping to save the world. Hoping to put every movie genre, plot line and star in one film, Jimmy Kimmel succeeded in his mission.
All during the epic film trailer, the intensity of the storyline stopped cold when it came to Matt Damon. Dressed up as a cluster of purple grapes, the entertainer seemed out of place reciting verses and became angered when he heard the voiceover man sharing that “they wanted to cut out of the movie.”
Looking exasperated, Matt Damon became agitated with a few choice words towards Jimmy Kimmel and ending with a disgruntled question of “How do you like them grapes?” The celebrity then pulled a few choice grapes toward the camera and rushed off the set.
The ongoing feud between Jimmy Kimmel and Matt Damon is an on-camera moment that draws in the fans. Looking to attract the fans that love Matt and Jimmy, the verbal smacks are a chance for the audience to get involved with the show. Being it is after the Oscars, the segment will get plenty of laughs as the trailer was all about the movies.
