On Sunday, February 24, the 85th Annual Academy Awards will air. After that broadcast, Jimmy Kimmel will host his own “after the show” show. Last year Kimmel was talked about for days after his spoof “Movie: The Movie” aired. It combined a star-studded cast and some hilarious moments. The critics and fans were talking about it fondly for quite some time.
Kimmel is now facing immense pressure to try and top what he did last year, and the buzz is that he will fail. He is going to attempt a sequel to “Movie: The Movie” but it doesn't bode well among the critics. He has positioned himself to prove everyone wrong, especially considering the stars that are booked for this year. This is a list of who will be appearing on the Jimmy Kimmel special after the Oscars, and what we can expect from them.
Samuel L. Jackson- He is movie royalty and his fans will sure to be excited about seeing him on the small screen. His part could go either way, friend or foe.
Bradley Cooper- Women all over swoon over this man, and many will tune in just to look at him. It is assumed that he will be playing somewhat of a hero.
Jessica Chastain- She is Hollywood's new “it” girl. Her debut in “The Help” skyrocketed her into overnight success. Her part will definitely be something like a fair maiden.
Jude Law- Hello gorgeous! He has been making women sweat and swoon for years. It will be nice to see him doing something on the comedic side. There isn't much speculation on a role for him, but you can be sure that whichever role he plays, women will be watching!
Salma Hayek- This woman is one of the most gorgeous according to many beauty and fashion magazines. Fans are hoping she has a silly roll in the spoof, especially since she really isn't much of a comedic actress.
John Krasinski- He is a funny, funny man. It is assumed that he will be a huge part of the “movie,” but nothing has been confirmed. With the relationship between him and Kimmel, they surely will not disappoint.
Those actors will appear in the “Movie: The Twovie” as the sequel is called. Other guests that will be speaking with Kimmel include Jamie Foxx, Channing Tatum, and Robin Roberts.
Tune in to watch how this will all go down Sunday night after the Oscars on local channel 7, or any ABC network in your area.
