Jimmy Kimmel nails his 8th annual 'Jimmy Kimmel Live After the Oscars' special

Shortly after the Oscars wrapped up on February 24, Jimmy Kimmel hosted his after-show special. He has hosted a special after the awards for eight years now, and each year he seems to improve. All the buzz surrounding his “Jimmy Kimmel Live After the Oscars” special was because of the show he put on last year. He made a spoof movie with some of the biggest names in Hollywood. All the press and speculation leading up to last night was worth it.

As it turns out, “Movie: The Movie 2v” was another huge hit. A-list stars came together to help Kimmel pull off another one of his genius ideas. Some of the familiar faces included Jessica Chastain, Jude Law, Gerard Butler, and Matt Damon.

“Life of Pi” won four Academy Awards, and Kimmel spun his own version titled “Life of Psy”. If you recall, Psy is the Korean rapper that shot to stardom for his hit “Gagnam Style”.

Of course Kimmel had to touch on Channing Tatum's role in “Magic Mike”. Jamie Foxx sang a song, which included the phrase “I want to Channing your Tatum”. The skit closed the show, and it had Tatum grinding on Kimmel as he thanked everyone for tuning into the show after the Oscars.

It was a wild and crazy hour for sure, but it was worth the hype. There are still posts on Twitter using the hashtag, “#ChanningyourTatum”. And even though “Magic Mike” wasn't a contender for an Academy Award, it still got major publicity from Jimmy Kimmel.

What were some of your favorite moments from Kimmel's after-show special?
