Jimmy Fallon got a great honor on Sunday when he won the Best Comedy Album at the 55th Annual Grammy Awards. The entertainer definitely had the fans attention when he won as the people in the Nokia Theatre gave a loud round of applause as is name was called. As the category was full of big Hollywood names, any of the people picked would have been a perfect choice. After his win the entertainer took to Twitter to express his shock on Sunday.
“I can’t believe I just won a Grammy! Not bad for a guy who was kicked out of One Direction. #grammy,” tweeted Jimmy Fallon from his official Twitter account. While technically Jimmy Fallon was never a One Direction band member, the talk show host was being funny as he relayed the news with the fans.
As the Grammy Awards evening progresses, there will be dozens of winners as the Grammys honor all types of music leading up to the prime time show where some of the hottest acts in entertainment will perform.
