Prince fans are in for a late night treat this week. Prince is planning to hang out with Jimmy Fallon. The iconic entertainer is scheduled to perform on the “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” this week, according to a Feb. 24 Associated Press report.
A rep for the late-night talk show confirmed that the reclusive pop legend will appear on the show Friday and will perform two songs. It's not clear at this time whether Prince will entertain fans with his new songs or stick with the favorite classics.
Prince’s appearance on Fallon’s show will be the first time Prince visits with the comedian, according to Dr. Funkenberry, who proclaims “One thing is for sure, it is gonna be awesome.” Fallon is reportedly a huge fan of the performer, who recently released his song “Screwdriver” on his website.
For those fans hoping to go on Friday’s Fallon show to get a glimpse of Prince, Dr. Funkenberry claims the show is already fully booked. The singer will soon get back on the performance bandwagon, so that’s always another option. He is headlining the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland, according to the Inquisitr.
