Though the king of the Parrot Heads, Jimmy Buffett, has millions of fans around the world and plays at sold out concert venues each summer, oddly enough it's not too often Bubba gets a nod from the music industry or Top Billboard Charts. This week, for only the 3rd time in his music career spanning over 40 years, Jimmy Buffett is sitting in the #1 spot on the Billboard Music Charts.
"Knee Deep" a duet with Buffett and Zac Brown Band, featured on ZBB's latest CD, "You Get What you Give," is a fun in the summer sun song about dreaming of the perfect stress free day of having your toes in the sand and being knee deep in your favorite beach or lake - wherever that may be! Buffett and ZBB currently hold the #1 position on the Billboard Country Charts and have been performing together quite a bit over the past year...and fans are loving it!
In addition to his current #1 Hit, Buffett had the #1 song on the Adult Contemporary Charts in 1977 with "Margaritaville" and again scored the #1 Spot in 2003 on the Billboard Country Billboard with Alan Jackson for "It's 5 O'Clock Somewhere."
We love this new found duo of Buffett and Brown and hope to hear more from them in the future!
