Fourty years of music from "The Doors" has seen many changes in music and yet the classic rock sound never is out of style. Monday morning fans of "The Doors" were treated to hearing Jim Morrison (deceased 1971) and "The Doors" in a recently discovered recording of "She Smells So Nice." Coming back to life through his music, Jim Morrison fans are loving the new release. With over 10 million fans on facebook, "The Doors" are not far behind Justin Bieber's Twitter following. The comments about the song are already in the thousands just two days after release.
The song "She Smells So Nice" was recorded with the track for the album "LA Woman" with well known songs such as "Love Her Madly." The long forgotten song "She Smells So Nice" was discovered by producer Bruce Botnick while digging through music to compile for "The Doors" 40th anniversary album, which will be produced as a double CD. Describing the song, Complex Music wrote,
"Recorded live in The Doors’ California rehearsal studio, 'She Smells So Nice' finds Manzarek, guitarist Robby Krieger, drummer John Densmore, and Elvis Presley’s bass player Jerry Scheff jamming with Morrison like they were a Chicago blues band."
Fans are 'digging' the music, wtih comments written by fans, "Sweet tune!! Crawling king Jimbo.. now I want more." and "¡¡¡¡Tremendo!!!" Other remarks include, "I can't wait to hear your new song. Jim Morrison was a living God." and "Don't you love this madly ?"
