On March 25 Pro Football Talk reveals that the Hall of Fame quarterback, Jim Kelly, is waiting a second surgery for aggressively spreading oral cancer.

Previously, Kelly had surgery to remove part of his jaw and some of his teeth after he found out that he had oral cancer. In a recent follow up visit, it was revealed that he is going to need a second surgery because the cancer is aggressively spreading and needs to be removed immediately.

Jim Kelly flew to New York on Monday for a consultation visit with a surgeon and has been tentatively scheduled for surgery this Thursday or April 1. Since finding out about the spread of the cancer to other parts of Jim's body, his wife Jill has been providing updates on social media and her personal blog.

His daughter Erin, who is in college, has stuck by Jim's side in the hospital watching football games and keeping him company while he awaits his surgery.

Since finding out that the ex-Bills quarterback's cancer has returned there has been an outpouring of love and prayers for Jim on his Twitter and other social media accounts using the hashtag #prayersforjim
