Jim Cantore knees heckler: Quick reflexes caught on camera

Jim Cantore kneed a heckler in the family jewels while reporting on Winter Storm Leon from the College of Charleston, and the whole thing was caught on camera. It all went down on Jan. 28, 2014 during a live broadcast. Cantore was mid-sentence when a young man was heard screaming from off camera. He wouldn't remain off camera for long.

Seconds later, the unknown heckler appeared just to Jim Cantore's right side, and the quick-thinking meteorologist lifted his knee, which struck the unknown man in the dead center of his groin. You can check out Cantore's cat-like reflexes in the video at the top of this page.

According to, Jim Cantore was unruffled by the whole event. The seasoned 49-year-old meteorologist finished his live shot and even quipped, "Obviously here at the College of Charleston, they're already having a good time!"
