Jillian Michaels returned to "The Biggest Loser," as reported at Today, and apparently she's not leaving again. "I will stay on ('Loser') as long as you'll have me!" said the personal trainer. "Bob Harper and I saw Madonna in concert recently and she played new music, and we were like, 'Cool! When is she going to play 'Holiday'?' 'Biggest Loser' is sort of my version of 'Holiday.'"
Jillian is known as being a tough talking, no excuses trainer. However, many would say her approach to fitness is a welcome variety for the popular weight loss show. "What seems like television to the American public to us is a life or death intervention," Michaels said. "So when we get crazy, when we get intense, we do it for a reason."
Arguably the most popular fitness trainer on "The Biggest Loser," Michaels has been in the press for another reason - her relationship with Heidi Rhoades. At first, the 38-year-old had just one foot out of the closet. She alluded to her sexuality in an interview with Ladies Home Journal. Michaels said,"Let's just say I believe in healthy love. If I fall in love with a woman, that's awesome. If I fall in love with a man, that's awesome. As long as you fall in love...it's like organic food. I only eat healthy food, and I only want healthy love!"
Today, "Biggest Loser"'s Jillian Michaels has both feet firmly out of the closet and is out and proud with her partner Heidi and their two children. In September 2012, she told Larry King, "I never want my kids to grow up and think that I'm ashamed of our family. So, I realized that I had no choice."
In August 2012, Michaels came to Chicago and led a spinning class at Chicago's Flywheel, an indoor cycling studio.
