It was the weigh-in heard around the world: When Rachel Frederickson stepped on "The Biggest Loser" scale at the finale, her 105-pound shockingly thin body caused trainer Jillian Michaels to do a double take. Her shocked expression showed her view that the show has taken a dangerous turn. The result: Jillian wants to leave the show, reported Parade magazine on April 8.

"She is deeply concerned about the direction the show has been taking," a source told People magazine on April 7. "She is turned off by the mean-spirited story lines and poor care of the contestants."

Given accusations that "The Biggest Loser" encourages contestants to follow dangerous diets after they leave the campus in order to capture the cash prize, Jillian "wants to distance herself from the Biggest Loser brand," says the source.

And Jillian also has been doing well on her own. Her books such as "Slim for Life: My Insider Secrets to Simple, Fast, and Lasting Weight Loss" are best-sellers.

Jillian also devotes herself to creating fitness DVDs, from one-week crash courses such as "Jillian Michaels One Week Shred" to a charged-up version of yoga: "Yoga Inferno."
