Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar of TLC's '19 Kids and Counting' have officially watched another child leave the nest. A People article dated Sat. June 21, confirmed that Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard committed to forever earlier today at Cross Church in Springsdale, Ark., while 1,000 guests witnessed their first kiss.

Jill, 23, the second Duggar daughter had a short courtship with Dillard, 25, before he asked her father for her hand in marriage. The pair officially met in Nepal after getting to know each other via Skype and email. Jill Duggar had previously gushed that she was in love with someone she hadn't even met. They serve as the ultimate example of a successful long distance relationship. Dillard most definitely has the Duggar seal of approval.

"I'm very excited at this wedding," Jill's younger brother Jackson, 10, tells PEOPLE. "Derick is like a brother already. He tells jokes [and] he plays around with us."

As one might guess, dad Jim Bob is happy and emotional for his daughter all at the same time.

"It really hit me that Jill was leaving as she was packing her bag the other night," Jim Bob tells PEOPLE. "We all realized she was really leaving. We are so glad that Derick is an answer to her prayers. It's an emotional time, but a joyful time."

Sister Jinger also spoke highly of her new brother-in-law.

Jill now joins older brother Joshua in the "marriage club." Joshua and wife Anna have three children and counting. Younger sister, Jessa, 20, is currently in a courtship with Ben Seewald, and like her other siblings, she plans to save her first kiss for her wedding day. The TLC family is known for their dedication to their Christian faith and values.

"I think it is safer and makes it more special to wait to kiss until your wedding day," Jill told PEOPLE when she and Dillard, 25, entered into a courtship. "To save the physical side of your marriage for your wedding day and not going further than you should – we want to have no regrets."

Dillard completely agrees with his new wife.

"You can really get to know each other on every level without the physical part of it," Dillard told PEOPLE. "I am the most blessed man to have Jill."

Mr. and Mrs. Dillard are honeymooning in a private location.
