JFK mistress writes book, JFK watched her have sex with his friend
Top news here in San Francisco is about JFK's mistress having written a book.
Former president JFK's mistress, Mimi Alford, has given out details about the relationship between the two.
"Sadly, news of celebrities or people in power having affairs and making a fool out of their wives, no longer shocks me. It happens so often. Just look at the affairs of people like Arnold Schwartenegger and Tiger Woods" says San Francisco resident Anna Latoracca. Mimi Alford says she had an affair with JFK while she was an intern at the White House. She also writes that she lost her virginity to the former president while she was attending a White House pool party.
The International Business Times says: "In her newly published autobiography, titled "Once Upon a Secret: My Affair with President John F. Kennedy and Its Aftermath", she mentioned how Kennedy seduced her in his wife's bedroom after a pool party at the White House."
"She has also claimed that the then president made her take drugs and asked her to perform sex acts on his friend while he watched."
Alford mentions in her book, Once Upon a Secret, that JFK talked a lot about the Cuban missile crisis and about the death of his baby son.
On the Cuban missile crisis, JFK, according to Alford, would have given in. He told her: "I'd rather my children were red than dead," reports the New York Post newspaper.
On the issue of his dead baby son,JFK would read condolence letters aloud to Alfred and both Alford and JFK would cry.
"There was a stack of condolence letters on the floor next to his chair, and he picked each one up and read it aloud to me... Occasionally, tears rolling down his cheeks, he would write something on one of the letters, probably notes for a reply.
The book also gives details of JFK's use of drugs, says the BBC.
Excerpts published in the New York Post tells how the affair between JFK and Alford went on for 18 months, even after Alford left DC. Alford also says she slept with the former president just a matter of days before he was assassinated in Dallas.
According to the video report on the left-hand side, Alford says that the President never kissed her on the lips.
Why did Mimi Alford decide to write the book? That's because she had been exposed, according to the BBC, in "a tabloid frenzy."
In 2003, a biographer writing on Kennedy's life talked about "a 19-year-old... White House intern" as one his affairs, according to the publisher for Alford, Random House.
