It's hard to believe that Jewel has been churning out songs for nearly twenty years, but it's true. A new YouTube channel has been launched in her honor, featuring some of Jewel's most popular songs over her two-decade career.
The talented and versatile singer has bridged multiple genres from pop to folk to country and even released two children's music albums in partnership with Fisher-Price. Even after years of recording and touring, some of Jewel's earliest hits such as “You Were Meant For Me” and “Standing Still” continue to get radio airplay.
Though Jewel has not shot to the top of any one particular genre, her often poetic and deeply expressive music is appreciated by a diverse fan base. She is a self-labeled storyteller whose observations and musings have delighted fans for years.
Now, Jewel brings some of her greatest hits back in her new YouTube channel. Fans will enjoy revisiting her very first single, “Who Will Save Your Soul?” along with “Down So Long”, “Stand”, “Jupiter” and others. Jewel's soul-searching and inspirational lyrics are a unique find in modern music. One commenter on “Who Will Save Your Soul” called today's music “empty.” Those who share that sentiment will find Jewel's YouTube channel a satisfying place to get “filled up.”
