The New York Jets are expected to name their new general manager today.
This is according to CBS Sports' Jason La Confora. The team finished their final GM interviews on Wednesday night.
That interview was with Seattle Seahawks' John Idzik, who is their Vice President of Football Administration. Idzik is a finalist, along with Pittsburgh Steelers' Omar Khan.
Khan is the Steelers Director of Business and Football Administration.
It is not clear if former Chicago Bears GM Jerry Angel is still in the mix. He did; however, interview for the positon. And incumbent Assistant GM Scott Cohen is reportedly far behind Idzik and Khan in the running.
The Jets are just trying to get the process finished after so many candidates have turned them down.
