The New York Jets will be looking for a quarterback in the off-season.
According to the New York Post, Miami Dolphins free agent quarterback Matt Moore is a possible candidate for the Jets.
In the same story, the story also mentions Tarvaris Jackson, Jason Campbell, and David Garrard as options that the team could bring in to battle Mark Sanchez for the starting job.
Of the four quarterbacks mentioned, Moore is the younger quarterback, but Jackson, Campbell, and Garrard have more experience. Moore has been mentioned as one of the best back up quarterbacks in the league.
With their salary cap trouble, the team cannot go out and sign higher-priced veterans Matt Flynn, Michael Vick, and Alex Smith, all of who are expected to be released by their team before free agency.
