“Jesus Was Praying!”(Luke 11:1)

“One day Jesus was praying in a certain place. When he finished, one of his disciples said to him, “Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples.” (Luke 11:1)

Prayer is one of the highest priorities of a believer in Jesus. Conversations with God are as essential as life. Andrew Murray stated, “Prayer is in very deed the pulse of the spiritual life.” Faith is expressed in and through prayer. One has to believe to offer their cares and concerns to the One that is invisible. A believer confirms his or her faith by calling on the one true God of heaven.

Jesus, God’s only Son, called on the Father and was found praying by His disciples. He is the best role model and set the example on a regular prayer life. They responded appropriately by asking Him to teach them. This should be the question of every man, woman, child, and youth. The Holy Spirit is in the believer to be a counselor and remind him or her how to carry out their faith in God via prayer.

Challenge: Believer, call on the author and finisher of your faith! He will lead and teach you in your prayer life!
