Students in Columbia, TN and Maury County return to school on Monday, January 7. The break is over! A bitter sweet feeling is sure to come for those wanting to continue the break and/or to end boredom anticipation of getting back to school friends. Teachers and administrators ended the break this week in preparation in welcoming the students back on next week. The anticipation is increasing for teachers and students to begin this New Year off to a brand new start. Teachers have state requirements and personal goals set. The students will need the support of family and teachers to finish strong this school year.
The Bible says, “Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong. Do everything in love.”(1 Corinthians 16:13-14) Parents, students, and teachers will have to stand guard preventing hindrances seeking to interrupt academic and school success. God is telling believers to let all of life be an example of this verse. It is time to take charge with courage and strength.
Jesus is the best example of this attitude. He was on guard about His assignment. Jesus would not let negative opponents and/or even sometimes family and friends deter Him from His vision and mission. Believer, Jesus is the Role Model! Pray to pattern life after Him, and faith will have success!
