Jesus is Lord: End of the story

End of the Story
The seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, which said:
"The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will reign for ever and ever."   Revelation 11:15 NIV
You are getting pretty close to the end of the age when the seventh angel is blowing his trump. What is this grand announcement that all have been waiting to hear? We have known it all along. Jesus is Lord! In this manifestation, Thy Kingdom Come, Thy Will be done on earth as it is in Heaven is fulfilled. God rules in the world through Jesus. The description of this new kingdom is expanded in Revelation 21. There is no temple in the city and there is no need of the sun or the moon. The glory of God gives it light and the Lamb is the lamp. The only ones that may come into this city where there is no night are those written in the Lamb’s book of life. Of course we know that the end of the story is really pretty near the beginning of the story that lasts for eternity and we spend that eternity with Jesus as our Lord.  Jesus is not just the Lord of all creation; He is the Lord of all eternity.

This survey explores and confirms that this is a very viable thread throughout the gospels, epistles, and eschatology of the New Testament. Decide for yourself if you agree with Dr. Rustenhaven and myself, that the message of the New Testament is JESUS IS LORD!
