Jesus Christ Is The Ultimate Weight Lifter

What's the main hindrance plagued by the majority of the world today? Our collective sense of the impulsive need to worry. Some people worry about their personal safety. Most people worry about their current relationship status and others usually stress about what the potential that their future holds; mostly whether if it is resting on either a positive or a negative outcome.

Our innate ability to create worry is handed down from generation to generation throughout all of our history of this human. The first documented case of this issue was in the Garden of Eden. Adam and Eve were just misled by the serpent into eating the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. They had just sewn fig leaves together to cover their nakedness and were now hiding from the Lord as He called out to them while He was in the the garden as well.

“And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou? And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself. And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?” (Genesis 3:9-11 KJV)

No one told them that they were naked. The bible says that their eyes were immediately opened, meaning that they realized that what they had just done was wrong. As soon as Adam ate the fruit from the tree, sin entered into the world and along with sin came worry, doubt, mistrust, hate and countless others. Yes, worry itself is a sin. And as believers if we want the Lord to continue to bless us, we have to eliminate these issues from our lives. We can't move forward if we are holding ourselves back.

Our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ said it best when He said, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30 KJV) Let the Lord relieve you from the burdens of sin and all that comes with it, Trust in Him to take care of it once and for all and reward you with His perfect peace.
