As true children of God, the Christian church must go back to preaching the word of God, as Jesus instructed—preach the gospel, in order for the people of this dying world to be saved.
“The Spirit of the LORD is upon me, for he has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free, and that the time of the LORD’s favor has come.” Luke 4:18-19
The Holy Spirit teaches the believer how to submit by faith unto the obedience of the word of God, which prospers the soul and teaches the believer not to sin. God created man and woman in the image and likeness of his spirit, meaning they we were created to be holy and righteous [and not sinners].
It is the responsibility of the Christian church, as representatives of Christ, to help save the souls of the lost, by faithfully submitting themselves to practicing the word of God, becoming good examples, revealing to the people of the world the true righteous ways of God.
The world is dying because too many Christian churches are preaching about the prosperity that is in this world, instead of preaching about the prosperity that is in God's word which brings people into repentance and saves their soul from walking out those acts which are spiritually immoral to God.
For the true believers who keep in the faith of Jesus Christ, it is important to continue to pray for those in the church who are lost and still believe and live according to the world’s philosophy of righteousness through wealth. The wealth of the world provides luxury and comfort; however it cannot teach people how to be a righteous child of God.
As well, pray for those in the world who do not know Christ, pray and ask God to give them the same opportunity to receive through confession his Holy Spirit in order for Christ to come into their hearts, so that they can learn to fall away from unrighteous practices which brings eternal destruction to their soul.
“The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent.” 2 Peter 3:9
